German Wirehaired Pointers

Bred For The Gun
There's a new girl in town.....

Shabby
At 7 Weeks Old
Our mission as Wireswest German Wirehaired Pointer breeders is to preserve, improve, and promote the fine qualities of the German Wirehaired Pointer as an exceptional upland and waterfowl versatile hunting dog and ideal family companion. We offer 1-2 litters/year.
It is our goal to produce healthy bold bird dogs that have natural steadiness, stamina to conquer the steep terrain, desire to retrieve regardless of difficulty, intelligence to track and find game, boldness to bust through thick cover, swim in challenging conditions, and hunt in a cooperative range. Equally important is to have a calm temperament.
We place our puppies in family hunting homes only. This breed is not suited to be full-time back yard pets as they are intelligent, highly driven, and active hunting dogs. That said, our dogs do make calm house dogs if given the proper exercise.
We encourage you to come out and meet all our GWPs to witness their wonderful temperaments first hand!
